Dharma is more than willing to teach him the mad dash from the brooder to play in the baby pool, which I have to surround with the ex-pen now to keep them in. They can fly/hop about 2 and a half feet straight up.
Dharma is the one who gets out the creases, under the door, beside my leg and then yells for me when he can't get back.
There's an amazing peace to sitting beside the baby pool and being a perch for eight or so growing chickens. I put a sand bath in there today to give them something more to do. But some of them would rather hang with me than play in the pool for very long.
Some of them contest HOP now. I can go HIGHER! I CAN! Contest hopping on Ponder, and treating his black toes like bugs is why he's walled off from them til he grows a bit. It's got to be like having Godzilla after you.
The next time Dharma gets himself stuck I swear I'm leaving him there. Rotten critter. Though I'd need a sauce pan now. He won't fit in a teacup...
