I put together a home made killing cone made out of scrap wood. I processed some birds with it today and it worked very well. A much cleaner easier way to do the job.

That's a big cone!

I would seriously paint it. Fluids absorb into that plywood very easily and you could develop bacteria, wasp or other insect issues.

The cone doesn't stay out in the weather. I wash it off and store it in a shed.
