The babies are here!!

I have decided to attempt my hand at ducks, as well as chickens. I ordered 4 Khaki Campbell hens and 2 Magpie hens from Ideal. They arrived safe and sound today, along with 8
packing peanuts, which I think are RIR's. All are happy, healthy and settling in nicely. So, I failed at chicken math, started with 6, have 18 now. Is the same thing going to happen with the duck? Any pointers on raising the little ducklings? TIA!!!!

Oh my gosh they are so cute!!! I wanted some magpie ducklings soooooo bad. But i ordered from metzers since they were closer and they didnt have magpie.
Looks like your only an hour from me we are in north idaho!

Awesome! I have ordered from Ideal in he past and have been very happy with them. Since Magpies seem to be so uncommon, if all goes well I might get a drake and raise some little ones.

i should have just ordered some at the same time. I wonder if they are as good of layers as they say they are.

I think duck math is easier to fail than chicken math. More pics!
