The 1st chick of the year has hatched. No idea how many we will get this year, normally I just have 1 hen that is broody but her daughters from last year are sitting on a hoard of eggs and the 1st one has arrived. Dad and Grandma aren’t too happy right now because I have locked them out of the nursery so the baby chicks are not able to get out. Just a couple of pictures of the brooding Mom’s, the 1st baby and the not too happy Dad and Grandma!
Did any more hatch? 
Those are some beautiful blue eggs too.
