OK.
Well my chicks came in today (good!)...
but...
apparently, the workers unloading the express truck DROPPED (bad) a larger poultry box on my tiny little box...and killed all of my chicks
I balled my eyes out at the post office (while everyone stared at me thinking probably "why is that lady crying over a smooshed box???")...
Needless to say, my brooder is now empty...
on the good side (again) I am on my way to get a few chicks from someone I found about an hour away, says he only has a few left, but that I can come buy a couple If I can get there by 1:30 ish.
At least now my son (and myself lol) wont have to be too disappointed.
I work for a small business that does alot of shipping, but I have never known anyone to be so careless. There answer? "Well, at least it was insured". SHEESH. They have a point, but that doesnt mean that all my little hopes were squashed by a careless person with a big box...
