I think your odd man out is a gold laced cochin but it is hard to tell. I think he and that darker one may be boys but again it is hard to tell. If you look at the feathers near the base of the tail, and the feathers at the neck, they will be thinner and stringier on a male.

wow that is interesting, I will look at that this morning, I will be so excited when they start laying. if you think I have two or three rooster and that means I only have 5 hens, but I am going to check that out. Every once in awhile one of the chickens yell out a big peep, kinda like someone hurt her, I think with all my heart it is the big rooster that is bullying a hen or two, maybe he is doing the mating dance over her. LOL but you think they are going to be laying soon. I hope I have enough laying boxes in there I have 4 boxes in the coop. What do you think? How many chickens do you have? talk soon

If they are in fact girls then they look very close to laying, with those big red combs and wattles. What you are hearing could be either them protesting to a male trying to mate them, or they are practicing their "egg song" which a lot of them yell out when they are laying.

Even if all females, they will peck at each other causing loud squawks.
Pecking order can change as laying commences,
and they get get very vocal and crabby for the hormone surge.
