5 GLW's survived their first winter last year but refused to leave the run if snow was out there, lol. Daily i had to get real creative by placing random things on the ground for them to walk on. This year, I am more prepared. I have been saving dried leaves and trimmings from an evergreen bush, as well as extra straw ready to cover the snow. I want them to thrive this winter, not just survive.They do blend in very well. I loved my GLW Sansa but she did hate snow. I hope yours cope better than she did.
