The best way to crack open fresh quail eggs?

I tried using quail egg scissors initially, but egg fragments end up falling all over anyways. I just use my fingers now and pinch the pointy side to get the contents out. It makes less of a mess compared to using scissors.

I just do the same thing I do with any other eggs. Crack & pour out contents.

In my experience the scissors made it harder too.
