I've searched the web and come to the conclusion that there are MANY different views on where eggs should be stored while waiting to be incubated (whether that be in the incubator or under a hen).

So my question is how do you store your eggs before incubation (fridge, on the counter etc)?

I store mine in egg carton on the counter. The longest I have even tried to store them is a week. So far so good.

I have incubated eggs stored at room temp and eggs from the fridge. Both worked equally well. I prefer room temp and keep them on the counter or in the laundry room on a shelf. Easier to keep the family from eating my hatching eggs if they are not in the fridge.
