My cockeral is about seven months old everyday when I open the doors to the run he comes out acting like a little hurricane running around chasing everybody even chasing the girls back in the coop he does this awhile the settles down and starts acting like a gentlemen and offering the girls the treats or scratch on the ground. Is this a juvenile thing? Is that normal? Thanks.

I think that's normal. My rooster leaves the coop in the morning and jumps on the first hen he sees. I think they need to remind the hens every morning that they are the boss etc.

That's what I thought. I'm hoping he'll get better when he gets older. It's just first thing in the morning.
