The foot has bumbled worse :(
I took Carnelian to the vet and he said her foot was getting better.... it looked like it was healing yes soft pink tissue... but now I saw her limp so I looked... and it's SWOLLEN huge! It's still light pink... I cut open the scab (very minimally) to see what I can pull out or any puss I can release... I wasn't able to get much. I really don't want to mutilate her foot but... I put soap and water on it after I opened it. She's laying down on nesting stuff right now I can get pictures when she's done... Are there any least invasive solutions like cleaning it out and trying to get rid of the infection?? I've read stuff about it already but I've never really removed one before. I've treated Raven with medicine and regular cleaning should I try that for carnelian?? Could this just be swelling rather than the actual infection?? because it doesn't look "Bad" it's just swollen pink chicken foot. It's been a couple of months since the vet visit just fyi

Pictures of the foot please.
Did the vet give you antibiotics?
If so what kind?

It has swollen so much ..... I have antibiotics on hand amoxicillin and tylan is all I carry... I have draw needles if there's a possibility of me being able to extract and puss but I want to be very careful with her... Could it be that it did heal but is coming back??

The pus is thick and hard...it's not like human pus.
It needs to come out before you think about starting antibiotics.

Do you think you cut make a cut in the center and squeeze some out?

@casportpony Do you have bumblefoot pus pics handy?
I saw a few videos but I'm worried if I cut into it... I will damage her foot. The vet is hardly ever a help anymore so I will have to do it but... I'm just worried about cutting into all of her foot issue on the off chance that there isn't hard puss in there and it's really just swollen tissue or something...
