The cat thread !

I haven’t seen a thread for this so i figured i’d make it. I have a 5 year old cat, Kiwi

And a kitten around 10 weeks, Missy.

They have crazy antics and i wanted to hear about your cat stories! I can’t wait to hear about everyones cats.

Let me start off this thread by telling you the backstory of Missy (Kiwis isn’t eventful, someone sold her to me for $100 because they claimed there was no mom cat)

There is a lovely woman in my area who takes cats from this terrible hoarder who downright abuses them. I haven’t gotten all the details, but the people in the area refuse to do anything because they only do that for dogs. Like, 3 dogs per house but unlimited cats so when they knock on the door and he refuses to answer they walk away. This is what i’ve been told by her so she rescues them and spays/neuters them for free, gives them shots and gives them to people. She really is wonderful.

Missy and her brother Benson were found in a grass patch with no mom or other siblings, she took them and just that day her mom cat had babies, these two bonded the most of course, and a family member of mine took the brother, i decided to take the sister. Every week or so, they have playdates and they love eachother. It’s sweet.

So follow along as you watch Missy and Benson grow old, their playful antics, and me introducing Missy and Kiwi to get them to be friends. I would love to hear about everyones cats and what their stories are. Apologizes for the long thread!

Today i’ll try and teach Missy a trick. Not sure what to start with, maybe sit? She is a foody and unlike my other cat Kiwi she will eat out of your hand. Might as well try and start young.

Luna knows sit, up/sit pretty (lured up with a treat but still lol), and high five. And sometimes she knows touch which is touching her nose to my thumb but she doesn’t do that one often.

Thats awesome. Kiwi knows key words and one trick. She knows food, outside, and her name very well. When i say kiss, she gives me a kiss on my lips (unless shes mad at me, she makes it very obvious and either gives me a peck on my cheek or won’t dare to look at me.) That would be if i pet a dog or did something to make her jealous.

Hazel, Fireworks, Biscuit, Smoky, Sooty, Fluffy, Toffy, Chip, Fifi, Pots, Muffin, Blackberry (aka The Woozle) The Floof, Spiky and Carry.
If you want to know anything more about them, I'm more then happy to oblige, but I'm not quite sure where to start....!
