Our hens love to hang out with the horses too. They love to pester the pony until she chases them and they run for the hedge and stick out their tongues. lol I used to worry that the pony would step on them but she's very careful. They're friends. And several of my hens hang out while our gelding is grazing and snatch up bugs and bits of good stuff when he pulls up grass. They seem to enjoy each others company!
