I still need to get the wire on the openings, but it's darn close to finished and I'm so excited! The girls are getting big fast and soon I will have giant birds in the house and that's no bueno!
I'm going to add some decorative trim to cover the overlap between the wire and the plywood, then it's getting a nice coat of barn red paint!
Next up will be the run. I sketched out my plans today and I think I can put it together in a couple hours. 5' x 3' simple frame/mesh construction with a 3' x 3' shaded area and a door on one end for access. Easy as pie. I hope!
