So, have you “trained” your girls to come when called?

I’ve “trained” mine from like Day 3 that when I yell CHICKIE PEEPS, I have grapes. (Which is like chicken crack for these girls!) And they come running! Usually, lol. (However, if there’s a juicy bug or something else going on, forget it!) Tonight my son caught the galloping velociraptors in full form! (Excuse my hot mess! I dress like a hobo when hanging with the chickens!)

I click my tongue and say babies. They will then run to a corner of the run no matter where I am. I go give them a treat. This allows me to open the gate without fighting them to get back. Now that they are older I can just stand at the gate click my tongue and watch them run to the corner. I'm disabled makes entering the run soooo much easier.
