The chicks have arrived

My baby chicks arrived this morning and I am super excited. The post office called bright and early so we picked them up after I dropped my oldest two off at school. They are happy, healthy, and active! I decided to go with the momma heating pad set up and they have taken to it well. They are drinking and eating so fingers crossed things continue to go well.

I have Black Australorps, Ameraucana, Welsummer, and Freedom Rangers.

I should probably be clear that the hatchery sells advertises Ameraucana but I know they are Easter Eggers. Which is completely fine because that is what I wanted anyway. Lol. Another hatchery that sells EEs wouldn’t have them until June so I went with a hatchery that had breeds I wanted on a ship date that worked for me.
