Hey guys. I was free ranging my chickens when I noticed that my barred rock had a strange looking comb. It’s flopped over to one side. She’s one one of my favorite barred rocks. Her names Helen. Anyway, if you would like, why don’t you submit your most weirdest, wackiest, or strangest chicken combs that your chickens have. To enter a picture say a little about your chicken his/her name and if you know, what type of comb he or she has. Have fun!

This is a black australorp. His name is Tim. The weird comb was not genetic, He lost the majority of if to frostbite. Well, it might be genetic, he got it so bad because of the way he sleeps, my other roosters learned to tuck their heads into their feathers to keep them warm, he never caught on.
This picture was from March last year. Since then he was attacked in the night by a raccoon and survived but the coon took a chunk out of his comb. It looks even more weird now. I do not have any recent pictures of him unfortunately. I do have a bloody picture the morning after the attack but I do not think you guys will be very interested in that.
