Ok..your incubator is suppose to hold 24 eggs, but they looked too crowded so you only put 18 eggs in the bator. Good girl! Now what? Wait.
What? you can't wait for 21 days? but..but..but...I have these eggs I need to hatch. I have an order for chicks and ducklings. What am I doing to do? What if my hatch rate isn't that good and I come up short. I don't want to disappoint anyone, let alone a little girl turning 5 years old and is getting chickies for her birthday next month. I certainly don't want to disappoint the guy who is trading me wine for a bator full of chicks and ducklings. Not to mention the other lady who wants 2 dozen baby chicks by the 1st of April. Good grief...what are you going to do??
Well...you might have to buy another incubator..Really? another one? Are you serious? another incubator? Yes, I'm absolutely sure you're gonna need another incubator. Insert momentary pause...OK!! get another incubator, for now. I see where these conversations are headed But as long as everyone in my head agrees, I guess it will be OK!!

I managed to fend off the pressure but we all know I am going back on payday...mua haa haaaa.

I had that same conversation with myself last year. We (all the voices) didn't even ask anyone in the house. We just went to the hatchery and bought it. We are very happy now.
