The coop is done and I am so proud of DH! I think he did a great job and put up with my inability to hit a nail! What do you think?

We are going to get the new girls tomorrow - 3 buffs and 3 red sex-links. I can't wait to see if they like their new home.

Obligatory advice: Might want to beef up security with some hard wire cloth around the bottom/sides of the run.

Only thing I did differently was to totally enclose the perimeter of the coop and run to allow full access to them going under the coop for shade and protection out the rain.
DH made a trench around full perimeter and buried wire 12 inches deep .


I am sure you will be doing as we probably are all doing , we notice little things to add and change from time to time , which makes things easier .
