The ducklings are growing and getting into more mischief, making more demands and have taken to yelling at me for more spinach and peas...
The little pigs ate a 3 spinach plants from the garden and half a bag of peas and were yapping for more....Oh and did I mention I filled their feeders 4 times? sheesh they should oink instead of quack!

I mean look at these looks I got when they ate two bowls of peas (this is L to R - Onyx, KitKat and Mounds)

And then they get all lazy and just lay down by the waterer so they only have to lean to get a drink.

And courtesy cuteness...

Hershey, one of our chocolate anconas

Sasha, another ancona whose color has yet to be determined,, silver, blue, lavender or tri-color are the options at this point...

a good picture of her body...I wanted a lavender or a blue so I am keeping my fingers crossed. But I love the cutie either way.

Holy Moly!! They are NOT the ducklings you JUST got are they?? Those little itty bitty teeny tiny ducklings that you JUST got?!?

I can't believe the size of them already!! They're MAGIC peas aren't they? I can't believe my eyes.

They're absolutely beautiful. You're doing a great job with them!!!

LOL yes they are those tiny little fuzzy cute things that lived in my bathroom for well over a week.

No magic in the peas....the cheapest huge off brand bag of frozen peas I cold find.

They eat a lot as you can imagine.

Is there a thread on the forum where there are pics of them as just wee babies? It would be fun to see how they change as they they grow.

And, does anyone know at about how many weeks (months?) before their yellow down turns to white feathers?

Oh I have been posting threads of them constantly....But here are some pictures of their progress

Aww, I love their two-tone feets!

Yes, I said FEETS.

I miss having babies around! So I stuck five random eggs in the 'bator. This is my first time, we'll see how it works. o_o;

Are those Gold Welsh Harlequins? Yours are so much darker than mine.

Wifezilla...according the Holderread and the box contants lists they are indeed Golden WH...I noticed the difference too when you got yours....could yours be silver phased? I know the Golden are supposed to be darker as ducklings but there is indeed a difference between ours...it is not as great as the pictures show I do not think.

If you look at Sasha...she is colored very similar toned to your girls but Sasha is an Ancona...and time will tell what color...her feet give her away as an Ancona...they are dark marked.

Hershey is such a hoot. All three of my chocolate anconas have candy names.... Hershey, Mounds and KitKat...hahahaha

PS: I looked at your sticky and read about the darker bills on the males for the first few days. I went back and looked at my pictures of them at 1 day old and it looks like I could have a 50/50 on the GWH 3 drakes out of 6. But now looking at them, I know 2 are drakes for sure..their head is so distinctly marked...I can almost almost see those beautiful dark feathers being there. The third is questionable...and I could be completely wrong and have 5 girls. Who knows. LOL
