The Crows they are a-nesting....

I saw a pair of crows in my backyard gathering old chickens feathers today. Terrifying sight, a crow with a mouthful of chicken feathers.

Anyways, I chased them off and locked up my hens. I only have 2, and they're 12weeks old and the same size as the Crows.

How worried should I be?

They have been known to kill young chicks.

Don't think we have any hawks in South Australian Suburbs...

Mildly disappointing, Hawks can be pretty

Our Bird population is dull, lots of starlings, pigeons and Crows. We used to have seagulls, now we have Crows.

The one's in the tree behind my house have been know to chase off the neighbor hood cats. They're good to have around.
