the curry coop...just starting pics

we loved the first 8 chicks we got last yr so we decided to buy more this yr.. 22 so needed a second bigger coop.. this one is 16x12 and will be divided in half.. so far this is what we have started. we are adding it onto our existing run and building an addition, 2 runs along the first older run. this is the first weekend. all the post holes dug and cemented in.

the next weekend..

and if the boys don't hurry up guess who will be coming for dinner lol. they are figuring out they can fly.. yep right onto my table..

Wow!!! Looking at the sizes of some of the coops on this thread made me realize something very important! I LIVE in a chicken coop! LOL! I think I'll start construction on a bigger house, move my chickens in here, and turn the current coop into a potting shed. I'm so envious!!!

Shhhhhh...don't mention them coming for dinner...you'll scare them.

Your coop is taking shape nicely. I know your new little chickens will just love all of the space!
