Ah, so she's probably an older hen. Makes more sense. Can you post a good picture of her. Close up of face, comb, and wattles and a close up of her feet?

Sorry, the foot picture isn't great. The chickens were very put out that I didn't come bearing snacks.

Here's her full body. I know, she doesn't have the copper a BCM ought to have.

I know it looks like she has some white on her neck here, but she really doesn't, it was just light reflecting. However, those whitish feathers above her eye really are white. Do chickens go gray?

She's a beauty in the peak of condition. She's putting all of her energy into her looks rather than egg production.

I'm officially removing her title of "deadbeat".

She laid every other day this week so far, which is what she was doing until Labor Day.
