Its almost July, pride month is coming to an end.

How did you celebrate?

I sported rainbows, and pride flags. I also made a goal to learn as MUCH as I can about the history of pride month as possible.

no parades or parties, I'm scared of covid!

So sad its almost over, but hopefully next year will be more fun... I would sure like to attend a pride parade..

I supported pride the same amount I would any month. To me, every month is pride month. I didn’t feel the need to celebrate it any more then I usually do. June is about celebrating the LGBTQ+ community, but why does it just have to be reserved for June?

I totally agree. We should/are allowed to be proud every month. Its not just reserved for June, but june marks the Stone wall riot, what started it all. So like many other special dates on the calendar, it marks a historic advent. :)

Australia also does their celebrations in October. So there weren’t many (if any) parades, or party’s. Also, most people I know don’t support the LGBTQ+ community. There is no way I’m displaying a pride flag around them since I’d rather not take that path of them being angry. My oldest friends are mostly lesbians, I support them the best I can. I’m sure I’ll go to a parade, or support the community in October, if it’s safe (from the virus).

To another year of pride.

Yes, some places so their pride during other months, simply because of the heat (I've read a ton about this, NY does their pride parades and celebrations during a different time of the year too, other places as well). Online I'm very supportive, but I don't know if I could stand up for myself in the real world. I always have to make sure to take off my dogs pride collar before leaving my neighborhood.. afriad of weird looks. Trying to be stronger and more prideful. The Other LGBTQ+ influences in my life help, for sure. Right across the street from me there is a pride + progression flag. Makes me smile. Rambling now, guess I should post this eventually.
