The Fence!

Please help! I have 10 pearls that are 13 weeks old and I can't get them to figure out that they have to fly OVER the fence.

It's has 2"x4" openings and is only 4 feet tall. It keeps the chickens in, so far, and unfortunately the guineas too.

If you throw them over they love to free-range. How can I get them to fly over by themselves?

They're still fairly young. I bet they'll figure it out!

They're probably taking their cue from the chickens right now.

This might work make a roost some where at the top of the fence.
However this might invite the chickens over the fence to.

Yes, I do have a 2x4 over an 8 foot section of the fence. They're getting a little better. They're good at getting out, but not so much at getting in. THATS what scares me.

Yes one of the chickens has tried. Didn't make it.

Ohhh they will figure it out! They're not the brightest bulbs in the box, so it could take them a while, but they will get it.
