Today it was finally warm enough to take them outside. Still a little bit windy but I put a OSB-sheet up for wind protection. They really enjoyed it and I had so much fun watching them.

Might seem silly but the cage you have them in, is that part of a dog kennel? I was thinking of using one I have but wasn't sure if it would work.

Yes, it's a dog kennel. We have a St. Bernard, so it is a BIG kennel

I just left out the bottom part and set it on the grass, it worked great!

That's not really a "schloss", it's actually the city hall in downtown Munich (where I am from). But it kinda looks like a little castle

My family and I just moved back from Germany after almost 6 yrs! My husband is Air Force and we lived in a small village near the Belgium and Luxembourg borders. We loved it and miss being over there. Coming back stateside after all that time was kind of a culture shock! But at least I have chickens now!
