1 has feathered cheeks that are almost constantly fluffed out like whiskers. My roo has that too. Does that make it likely this is a boy? None of the other three have this fluffy-cheek thing going.

I have tried to see the difference between pointy feather tips and rounded on my hens and roo, and can't for the life of me figure that one out... None of the 4 have developed spurs yet, or tried to crow.
I am SO hoping it's three hens and only one more roo.....

oh - also, when do their combs grow? So far they are little short things, but the moms and dad all have tall combs.

Pics will be needed, and maybe post them in the "what breed or gender is this" forum for the most traffic. It sounds like you have EEs, but if they're purebred then having muffs/tuffs would be required and not related to the sex of the bird.

I agree they are all pullets. If you look at the side of your rooster- just to the front of the tail there are pointy feathers hanging down the side. Your pullets have rounded feathers in that area. The pointy feathers are more transparent on the edges than the rounded ones are. Wow are you lucky, we hatched 15 chicks last April and only 5 were pullets.
