Maybe it was the dehydration that woke me up. Or maybe it was my old battle axe of a guard dog moving her cranky bones to a better sleeping mat. Either way I'm awake to the sounds of someone trying to break out of their egg cell. It's about day 21, 18 eggs that made it to lockdown. This is first time incubating and I had some trouble with humidity and temperature. I guess now it's time for coffee and waiting.

It must be exciting and nerve-wracking at the same time going through your first hatch. I haven't tried it (yet!) but enjoy reading other's experiences with the process.

Sending "good hatching vibes" your way. Keep us posted on how it goes!

Sweet! My first hatch, a couple of weeks ago, first was while I was at work. Next 2 while I was on my way home. Next two during the night but before I woke at 2:30. Next, before I woke again. The only one I got to see was the last that I helped. So exciting for you.
