I have a plan to make an ideal meat bird cross- it's on my BYC page https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/kfacress-member-page (down towards the bottom). Looking to probably continue on with it, as the good quality DP birds I had begun with last summer- didn't work out very well. Anyone have suggestions?
However, I'm thinking that the Breeder type Cornish I raise right now, are doing a wonderful job of *MEATING*
my goals, and seem to be working for the people that I'm selling breeding stock and hatching eggs to as well.
A little softer feathered than the SOP calls for in Cornish- but here's some interesting whites, and the lead cock for the colorful pen.
