While trying to figure out whether I had some roosters in my 4 day old flock, I stumbled upon Pasty Butt. Come to find out, the reason why one of my chicks was "crowing" was because it needed to poo. Which it couldn't because of said Pasty Butt. So, I cleaned up 3 of the 8 chicks that had poo covered vents. Oiled them up, added a tsp of apple cider vinager to their water, and sent them on their way. This is the second day of being a chicken mom for me. Is this going to be a reoccuring event? Or is the apple cider vinager really going to help?
