Last week I posted here about how to move the chicks. So Tues nite (7/6) I went to the brooder at 9:30 and picked them right up and carried them in a pet carrier to the new coop. I only had to use a net on the last one, by then she knew something was up and wouldn't stand still. So now they have been in the coop for 2 nites and are settling in. Supposed to have t-storms today so I will wait untill Fri or Sat to let them see their new yard.
Thanks to everyone for your great advice, you folks are the greatest!

Hi lovinlife,
there are 24 Buckeyes, 4 1/2 weeks old, breakdown undetermined yet. They are enjoying their oatmeal breakfast in the pic.
