I do not let my chickens set or hatch, I have all the chickens I need and for sure, don't need another roo so.......I gather my eggs every day, I get the broodies out of the nests and make them go outside. I had gathered the eggs into a bucket, put them on the front porch of the coop and kicked the broodies out. When I was ready to go back in the house with the eggs, this is where my most tenacious broody had gone....into the bucket where the eggs were.....
