Ha! I guess it was a good thing I had a couple of months to prepare for this. I had got a pooper scooper set (2.4# all together) and a litter scoop (8.6 oz), so not exceeding my <5# wt limit. These made coop cleaning a breeze. The bucket holds a lot, the scraper loosens things up, the rake fluffs it up and the liter scoop is sized perfectly spaced to hold the droppings while letting the hemp easily fall through, so less waste.
So I did my job. He has to do the feed and watering- that exceeds my wt limit. 😆
Numi was none to happy about the separation for a couple of days. She promptly bit my finger & then went back to snuggling.:celebrate Screenshot_20220528-110458_Chrome.jpg Screenshot_20220528-110434_Chrome.jpg

Glad to hear that you were prepared! Successful surgery? How are you feeling Sydney? 🌷

I couldn't brag about the team I had for this enough. I had a lot of ppl questioning me for doing both at once, but I'd do it the same if I had to do it over again. The restrictions, difficulties & pain level are the same, it's just a matter of if you want to do it one and done or drag if out for months w/2 procedures. - But if you ever do it it, dm me and I'll tell you all the preparing I did to make it easier. Lol
I'm fine, a little stiff in the wrists and have to remember not to lean on my hands. The worst part is walking in circles bc everything I start to do I remember I'm not allowed to do.:he
Keets should arrive next week the day before stitches come out.I set the brooder up before, so all to be done is turn the heat on,have their vitamin water ready, & leave them alone. ..can you believe I just said that??:gig

I’m sure you’ll hang our next to them and they will grow to love your calm presence!
