The Not Quite Right Hen

I have what is a 9 month old hen in every aspect beside she hasn't layed any eggs not the concern but This comb and wattles is making thing something is up with her! Am I being paranoid or is there a possibility Its a Hermaphrodite?

It's possible she has a damaged ovary. Symptoms include male characteristics like enlarged comb/wattles and sometimes male behavior. Also no laying, since chickens only have one functioning ovary, not two.

Sometimes the ovary will heal and sometimes the condition is permanent.

It's also possible she will lay in spring, when the days lengthen. Time will tell.
