The original $6.00 chicken plucker

I just finished 16 Cornish X and next time I will be building one of these pluckers. Scald was perfect, but to pluck is just so pluckin time consuming. Drills and bungee cords I got! Time is an issue. Thanks for the post!

THis is great!!! We hand plucked 6 very large geese in Feb, even with my boys helping on 2 and DH pitching in, too, it took 6 hours to dress 6 geese. Man oh man, my fingers were raw and painful. THe processing of these birds was as a learning project--it was a very valueable lesson. Learned what not to do!
