The Quiet Yard

Does anyone else have that moment of panic, every day even though you know the reason, when you notice that your yard has MUCH fewer birds in it that it has the rest of the year?

I'm obviously happy the birds are broody/setting but it freaks me out EVERY DAY.

It's so quiet right now. Just the boys.

Several weeks ago 15 crowers met Mr. Hattchet. My yard is nice & quite now and I love it! In a couple months it'll be starting all over again.
