Does anyone know if roos squat when petted?

They can squat when trying to get away from you. Do you mean like how the ladies squat during mounting?

yes, i thought i had 2 roos but one has started squatting down when i stroke him (16wks old) not struggling to get away will lay down and happily lay there squatted while i stroke him. my other roo (definate roo, crowing) doesnt do this.
just done some research and can only find that pullets squat submissive/mating

definately getting down low, not sure on wings spreading
making some kind of quiet clucking, happy noise maybe lol

The rooster in my profile picture loved to be pet and would often squat down to the ground when I pet him. Post some pictures of the rooster in question maybe.
