THey are just a little bit diferent now, likeing a few different things as my normal new chicks like. I continue to monitor and report on Huey, Duey and Louise....

At first they were just like everyone else! you couldnt really tell who was who!

Then they started to group together on their own the other day.

Now they are really acting different. I can now pick the chiucks from my Cochins, Americanas, and Wyandotts.

Are they chickens or ducks? How did they get crossed? AI? What is that old saying...If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, walks like a duck...it's a duck?

Right now the duck is just a few days old and the chicks are 10 weeks. They mostly just ignore it for now. The duck (my husband named it Killer

) tries to follow the girls around but they just aren't interested. I'm hoping that when the ducks a bit bigger they'll all get along.
