Remember that commercial? Actually, the temperature under my broody....

Assuming she didn't sneak any breaks (I tried to check after her breaks, but gave her time to regulate the temp under her), the temp ranged from 89.2 - 101.7 degrees; 37-60% humidity.

That's interesting, how did you check it?

I'm using my broody hens to hatch out my daughter's turkey eggs right now.

I put one of those units that reads both temperature and humidity. It has a cord with a probe at the other end, so I put it under her. I think it would be really interesting although time consuming, to monitor it all day for 21 days! And see how long it stays on the low, how long it stays on the highs....

i'm sure this is documented somewhere, but I've never seen anything.
