The time is upon me!!

I take eggs out of the turner tonight and lay them on the wire in my LG. We are at day 20. I cannot supervise this 24 hours a day because I work.

Will I be able to just check them in the morning, and when I get home from work, or is that too long for them to remain in the LG?

Since I can't check them for the 8-9 hours, should I put food and water in the LG for them in coffee can lids so they can find it if they need it? Or will they be eating that soon after hatching?

NOpe they will be fine in there without food for that long just wehn you get home check em

for quail? sholdn't they hae hatched at around day 18?

I wouldn't worry about food and water in the hatcher, they will have enough of their yolk absorbed to sustain them a day.

they are bobwhite, not coturnix (not yet anyway, thats the next addition). I am kind of expecting them between tomorrow (21 days) and Monday (25 days). I think if they are not here by 25 then they are not coming.
