I have the ceiling fully insulated and 6 3 inch vents drilled into the 2 inch foam board. Once the Solar goes in there will be an 8 inch fan that pulls air from inside and vents to the "attic" space and out the eve vents. As long as I keep the 2 back windows open it will draw the cool air from the trees into the building and should keep it cooler and the ammonia venting out the top

Sounds good to me. I'm assuming living in TX that the insulation is for heat and not cold. Good job and good plan.
Exactly. Been a bad weekend for outside work. the insulation keeps it about 10 degrees cooler in the coop. Once I get the fans working it should drop another 5 or so

Most of my coops back to heavy shade. On my first one I installed a floor level vent on the shady side with ridge vents and 2 big windows on the opposite side. The air coming in those floor level vents is substantially cooler.

that's what I plan on doing with the back windows. I'll leave them open to the trees, they are always shaded and close the front windows in the sun. Also putting heat reflective film on the windows that are in the sun most of the day. It should work wonders to keep it cooler
