I had all but given up on getting a Sportsman 1502 for next season because the shipping from GQF (east coast) to Alaska is awful... somewhere in the ballpark of $300-400 for UPS, because the box is bigger than USPS will transport.

Well, UPS stopped by at 8pm last night, and my husband went out to talk to the driver. He then helped the guy carry a large box into the garage. When I asked the UPS driver if the package weighed 96#, he just looked at my husband, then looked at me and smiled.

I got my Christmas wish!!!!!!

Make certain you have a generator that will kick on if your power ever goes out... or is that "next" Christmas.

My DW would NEVER allow a sportsman... I'd have to buy all the homes around me and turn them into coops
