The ups and downs of baby chicks.....

Hi all

I just love reading over the boards and keeping up to date with everyones stories.

Is amazing how attached you get to the wee fluff-balls!

Sooo we were all a bit upset when we we lost a wee chick..just slipped away in it's sleep

then had to return a couple of chicks that were boys

I keep hearing this mention of "Chicken Math".....and it really is a rather bizarre thing......somehow we managed to come home with another 4 baby chicks!!! I mean really 2 just isn't enough is it!!!??

Here are a few pics....firstly our 2 bigger girls who are now outside and the wee bunch of cute-poopers we have in the brooder inside!

Love them all so much......please let them all grow up and be girls!!!!

Kids named them.....Harry Potter and Disney Channel has a lot to answer for in this house!
