This little guy has been the ugliest lowlyest chicken in the flock from day one, and my favorite. He is slowly becoming the most beautiful!

He looks EXACTLY like my little black frizzle roo

i got mine on easter and just liked him cuz he looked like a baby duck but as he started to grow his feathers came in and it was the wierdest thing id ever seen (this was before i knew alot about chickens) my dad and sisters made fun of him but now hes the prettiest rooster we have

your little guy is so cute lol

Thank you for the encouraging words. Velvet is not a show chicken but he is my favorite. I wonder if he will always be low man on the totem pole or if he can work his way up in the ranks.
