The waiting begins

Yes, I have actually gotten them next day one time. Last shipment we got was actually through another hatchery, but they sourced them through Metzer and came from CA facility. Idk if it just so happened they just didn't have the Muscovy or gosslings in the TN one or how that ended up. As the I am only a few hours from the TN one, and the CA they got it here in 3 days still. Did loose one Muscovy arrived alive, but was not doing well and it passed around 2 hours after pickup. Rest are 6 weeks old and doing great. From looking around it seems Muscovy just don't do as well shipping as mallard breeds. All our mallard breeds we have gotten have all arrived alive. We have only lost two we have directly gotten from them. Those two was from our previous two orders. They passed just under 3 weeks old. According to the vet we took them to to have them looked over said she didn't think it was anything on our part. Said the ones we brought to be checked that didn't looked good and healthy, no parasites in poo. They are now laying eggs and doing well.
Next day would make me happy. LOL
Tomorrow is my birthday and Wednesday our anniversary.
The first ducklings we ordered (5yrs ago) we had one die during shipping. I ordered 4, they sent an extra, so still had 4 in the end. I felt so bad the ducklings were traveling with a dead sibling.
