I am so happy to have a place to post this. My darling husband is not an animal person but he really loves me. I started with 6 RIR I got at tractor supply in March and a 6x6 coop/run combo, which they quickly outgrew (in my mind).
Last month he built a 10' x 18' run which he is very proud of and our neighbor took down 140' of fencing and was on the way to the dump so the price was right.
Since I took in a few more birds, he will be starting on another area tomorrow. So the joke at my house is my chickens have my version of the Winchester Mystery Manson, keeps going and going. I live in California and for those of you that don't understand, you might have to google. (sorry)
