I'm raising Cochin chickens to sell later this Fall, I know they are a more expensive breed than a RIR or a white leghorn. But I want to know, how much should I sell a full grown, egg laying hen.

The best price (for anything) is the price the seller and buyer agree upon.

For as much as your market will bear......it really depends on the demand for such a bird in your area.
Look at craigslist or other sale sites/papers/auctions/etc to see what POL birds go for in your area.
I always say, start higher in price than you want to get.....
......you can always come down in price a bit, everyone like to think they got a bargain.

I've seen POL birds for anywhere between $10-30.

Cochins aren't the most prolific layers, but they are reputed to often go broody.....
....some folks might want lots of eggs, other folks might want a broodier breed of bird.
