Here I will talk about my flock. If I have a problem I will post it here. If I hatch eggs I will post here. Now I am going to introduce you to my flock. Well, there is actually 2. I have 2 seperate coops with seperate flocks. Flock 1: The Originals
Little Big Shot - He is a Black Cochin Bantam. This is the sweetest roo ever. Protective of his hens but once you pick him up he is a sweetheart. He won Grand Champion at the county fair last year.
The hens - I cannot tell these apart without picking them up. They are named by the color of their leg bands. Pink is Bubblegum, purple is Plum, and blue is Sky.
Flock 2: The Newbies
Soldier - Black Cochin Bantam. Little Big Shots son. I love him dearly but we need to find a new home for him because there is another cockerel in this flock.
Chipmunk - BB Red OEGB. This is the cockerel we will be keeping for this flock. Though if I create a bachelor coop he would no longer have a flock. More details to come... Tommorow.
Nugget - Golden Laced Sebright. She is very skittish and shy. A flighty bird. She hates to be handled and will try to escape. She is gourgeous though. I love her and plan on breeding her to a Cochin Bantam. More to come on that also.
Boots and Sweet Pea - Cochin Bantams. Can't tell who is who and I need to get leg bands on them.
I am not sure if I want to do a tax system or not. You can vote yes by loving this thread, no by an angry reaction, or I dont care by a like. I may do mini contest on here or other things. I want to keep this thread acrive. The tax would work like this, if you say something non-chicken related then you must pay a tax by posting a picture of a chicken. More to come tommorow. @PippinTheChicken Dang. I can't think of who else to tag. Got any ideas Pippin?
