Their fisrt starter coop..and ladies being sweet!

This is Miss Gretta cleaning the egg off Miss Maggie's head..I dropped one of their eggs and they went crazy..but Miss Maggie got it all over her...

Maggie and Bella sharing the nest box..I have 2 but they all want this one!!

Bella found the soil in my flower garden...

The babies new coop..it is a good starter coop for the babies..once they grow out of it and join the adult hens the new babies will use it to grow..

And this is where we saw an eagle and 2 hawks this past weekend...it is a cell phone tower built in a field way behind our woods...the crows were going crazy and the eagle flew right over my yard and the yard next door..both with chickens in the yard...but the crows have a nest in our woods...and they went after the eagle! I will now welcome the crows!!

Very cute birds!!!! make sure that when u drop an egg they dont taste it becasue otherwise they will eat there own eggs....

Oh..they tasted it...it landed right on their run...by the time I came back out to clean it out...they were all over it!!

Don't worry too much about the dropped egg. My hens have gotten plenty of tasting due to my clumsiness (

). They leave their eggs alone unless they break.
