I attended a small animal swap/auction in Oklahoma a few years back...it was around the Heavener, OK area. It's in a metal building and when it's warm enough...March-ish, they have these swaps on the 1st and 3rd Fridays.

Chickens, ducks, geese, birds, goats, sheep, etc...

I bet Buckyguy20 can give us more info, he seems to know everything about the swaps. *haha* I e-mailed you about my Buff Orps. And welcome to the board!!

Thanks...I was raised on a Dairy Farm in the Ozarks...my husband is a city slicker...finally talked him into a small farm lifestyle...lol our church & parsonage sits on 3 acres in the middle of a cotton patch, in the country. We've been here almost 2 years now...as a pastors wife, I never know where I will be, almost month to month, but my family now live down in OK, my brother goes to that meet...I'll ask him the name of the community...

He used to raise mink, now has some chickens and golden retrievers...
Anyway...it's all new to me again.

I haven't heard of the one in Heavener but if it is a good one let me know and i'll come.
p.s. Welcome, I'll put you in our Okies in the BYC list if you want.

Hello,
Thank you for your your welcome, while I have been to this swap/auction...I no longer live over there...some of my family live right on the OK border though, and I go to visit them ever little bit...my brother took me to this meet...I currently live almost to Lousiana...just about an hour away...we our pastors. I would appreciate any update you would have from your circle though...I would pass the word on to my brother.
